So, why handmade soap? What's wrong with my commercial soap?
I ask you this, is your soap really soap, or is it 'detergent'? Look at the label on your bar of commercial soap. Is it called 'soap' on the label or is it a 'beauty bar', 'cleansing bar', or 'deodorizing bar'? If it doesn't say 'Soap', it's not soap, it's detergent and detergent is good for one thing only, removing oils. Be it oils from soiled cloths or your skin, detergent doesn't care. It just strips them. And what about the ingredient list? What are those things?
Everyday, people take baths or showers. Lathering up with commercial 'soap'. Our skin is the body's largest organ and like a sponge, absorbs chemicals. In fact today, many medicines are now given in patch form to be absorbed through our skin.
All of our soaps are made using the cold process method and promise to deliver a
relaxing retreat no matter what kind of day you are having!
With handmade soap, we get to choose the oils for their skin healing properties.
The essential oils are of aromatherapy grade. Colorants are made of minerals and
other natural resources. The end result is a mild, pure soap, that gently
cleanses your skin without being harsh, irritating or drying. Made in small batches, by hand from start to finish, in our kitchen. Due to the nature of handmade soap, each batch will vary slightly in color and shape. Color of soap may vary from color on screen due to different computer monitors projections.
